[RC] [RC] Since we are on the subject of water - Kristi SchaafI've learned to turn a blind eye to all the idiotic going-ons at our local equine campground (the other option would be to sob in frustration). This last hot humid weekend we saw a woman's horse pull away from her when she was leading him to the trailer to tack up. Guess where he headed? Yep - straight to the bucket of water sitting at the hydrant about 20 yards from her camp site (on a line right through some yummy grass and clover that he didn't even hesitate at). He drank and drank and drank before she caught up to him. I suppose she had been leading him, at her convenience, and obviously not often enough, to the water to drink, instead of taking water to him. If we could only take away these people's beer, and let them drink it when their horse decides it's time, maybe they would have a lightbulb moment, or maybe not. Hubby and I looked at each other and said, "do you think she just figured out what her horse is trying to tell her? Nah...." Kristi Life's a journey, so enjoy the ride (and try not to fall off) __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo!
