[RC] feeling heartbeat - JonniNot that unusual to feel the heartbeat where you place the stethoscope at all. I often place my hand there to feel, rather than take a listen. Some horse are easier than others. Just as some are easier to hear than others. But if you have your horse stop suddenly, look ahead at something, and start feeling its heartbeat through the saddle and into your legs, hang on, as it is about to whirl and run from something it is convinced is gonna attack it. hehehehehe Never fond of having the heart pounding through the saddle...that means major spook on the way....
