Re: [RC] Night riding/motion sickness/dark horse syndrome-mighttry this. - Truman PrevattFirst 100 I did on the mare (black - no white anywhere) I got sick as a dog. Next 100 I put glow sticks on her breast collor. She was still back and all I saw was a "ball of light" appearing on my left, disappear and appear on my right. I took those thing off before I lost what little food I had in me.I tied one of the glow sticks to the back right of my saddle (behind me). I tied the other on the other side. That way I had light in my peripheral vision but it wasn't moving around. That worked that ride. After that I had no problem at night - didn't need to do anything. I would just carry a couple small flashlights and use them if I needed to find trail markers. After awhile my eyes got so used to the dark I could see although it seemed to be pitch black. So there is hope - the first time at night on a black horse is the worst.
