RE: [RC] Pulling weight - Alison FarrinHave to pass on a related bizarre experience I had last Sunday. Tied the horse with the loose screw in his brain to the trailer. Trailer is hooked to the truck. Trailer truck and camper weigh about 16,000 lbs. Emergency brake is on, but truck is out of gear. The whole rig is sitting on a flat surface Screw loose pulls back and doesn't stop pulling. He pulls the whole rig 10-15 feet until it hits the hill and takes off on its own. 800 lb horse pulled 20X his weight. Who needs a stone boat. Just hitch them to your rig! Alison A. Farrin If one wanted to do real weight training with horses you could train them to pull a stone boat. The weight in the stone boat could then be adjusted so the horse did say 10 repetitions of 16.5 feet for the workout.
