[RC] Lets have some fun! - Nancy

Dear Friends,
I am hosting the Fourth almost annual Escondido Creek Conservancy Summer
Celebration Saturday August 20th here at the Lazy J Ranch in Elfin Forest
located in San Diego County.  Why would I do this?  Trails, trails, trails
and Berkley Hart.  The Escondido Creek Conservancy (TECC) holds title to
hundreds of acres of open space  that has miles and miles of trails.  And
TECC is a very equine friendly group that sees the value in multi-use
trails.  These are beautiful training trails with various terrain and
footing.  I am so blessed to have these trails out my stable gate.
Berkley Hart is an award winning acoustic duo with harmonies reminiscent of
Crosby, Stills and Nash or Simon and Garfunkle.  These two tunesmiths have
written songs that will make your toes tap, amaze you with a cleaver turn of
phrase or make you cry. They are also a stand up act with Jeff Berkley's
silliness balanced by Calman Hart's straight man.
Perhaps the most important part is the food and libation.  After several
tries at this, I think I have found a winning combination. Dinner is hand
made lasagna (meat and vegetarian) by Russo's Pasta in Encinitas served with
salad and bread.  Appetizers and dessert are also included.  Beer has been
provided by Stone Brewery and only premium wine is served (no boxed wine!).
All of this fun is included in the cost of admission, $50 and is tax
deductible.  Tickets are available at the TECC web site

make an special appearance during the first set as it rises over Mt. Israel.
