[RC] ?correct that horses "keep their acquired fitness"? - Ridecamp GuestPlease Reply to: Ray O'Donohue rno2m@virginia or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ========================================== Field trialer here. Some time back, some Ridecamp posters espoused the concept that unlike humans, horses maintain an acquired fitness level for a long time without continually performing the amount of work that got them to that point.Too good to be true? I must admit that this is something I have bought into to salve my conscience re the "weekend warrior" regime that I impose on Chico the Rebel (and myself). It(seems)to be true-Chico has pretty much been tireless,no matter what.Comments? =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
