[RC] Heart Rates - Ridecamp GuestPlease Reply to: Diane Roby diane_roby2002@xxxxxxxxx or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ========================================== Is there a HRM that stores the data obtained during a ride and can download it into a PC for tracking? My memory isn't what it used to be so unless I bring a pen and a tablet with me I find that by the time I get home except for exceptional information I've forgotten most of the heart rates at the walk/trot/ canter. I know what her baselines are and I've set the alarm to go off when it drops below 59 and above 150. I don't ride your typical endurance horse, I ride a 13.3 hand POA but she's got excellent recoveries and a resting HR of 36. She's also got a nice lean horse type build. I am interested in learning what I can about feed, nutrition, exercise physiology, anything to ensure that 10+ years later both she and I can enjoy exploring the trails. I however do not ride to win but to finish so I may not be the audience intended for this type of information. And since we've only done 2 LDs we aren't really the endurance riders we aspire to be. yet. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
