[RC] Tests - Ridecamp GuestPlease Reply to: ti Tivers@xxxxxxx or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ========================================== Really? For me, I'd have to start with the vast depth of financial resources of the sheiks or the TBred race people. It's ridiculous to make comparisons to the kind of testing regimes that can be run by Tbred racers [people that routinely pay $50-100K stud fees/$500K and up for a foal on the ground/$25-50K a year in training plus plus plus...] to the sport where to quote Jerry Fruth "all you need is a horse and a trail". This discussion has gotten a little like Fear Factor to me - the "payoff" isn't worth it. Kristen in TX> Rilly. A HR monitor costs lest than your riding outfit, a glucometer less than $50 after rebates, and an ES can be done by sticking two poles in the ground--maybe 50 cents each. The Fear Factor is all in your mind--it's painful to think, at least at first. ti =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
