[RC] Longevity - Ridecamp GuestPlease Reply to: ti Tivers@xxxxxxx or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ========================================== OK, I'll request some numbers. I'm genuinely curious. What are the complete competition records of the horses that you listed on your resume' (the one that set the record on the 100 comes to mind). I'd be curious to know their ages, the times they ran, how often they ran them and how many rides they did in their competitive careers. I think we could learn something from that and we don't have access to that information on international horses that I know of. It's a bit of a problem when the names are often changed. Angie > I have no idea. Typically I'll work with a horse for a season and by that time have transferred all the information I have to the trainer. We go our separate ways. The Abu Dhabi situation was a 2+ year job, with roughly 120 in training, all identified on the spreadsheets by stable name, with renaming a frequent occurance. I tracked only the data and once I left, paid no more attention except to read about subsequent AL Reef successes and mulit-year winning individuals. But I don't track horses after I'm done with them and often don't know more than the stable name. Too many. You can conclude whatever you wish from that, but that's the way it is. ti =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
