[RC] saddle for old style Morgan - Karen CasemierI suggest you take a look at the Duett saddles - they have a wide variety of English saddles - I believe five different dressage models, a couple AP models, a jumping model, and a trail saddle. Worked very well for my broad, flatbacked Morgan, reasonably priced, Nancy Temple, the company owner, is knowledgeable and great to work with, and you can demo a saddle before buying. I think they are listed in the vendor section of endurance.net.Her Royal Highness has three saddles now, and I'm really happy with all three of them: A Duett A/P that works well for jumping A Synergist western style endurance that I took a complete chance on off e-bay and it fits her and me really well An Albion dressage that I practically stole off consignment for $650. This is the newest saddle - the balance of the Synergist was good for my dressage lessons, but wasn't great for sitting work, so I splurged on the Albion. At that price, I knew I could put it on ebay and get my money back out of it. The Synergist and Albion were calculated risks that worked out great for me, but in your situation I would start with Duetts and demo a couple of models. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
