[RC] Call for nominations for the AERC Pard'ners Award and equine/memberHall of Fame - Michael MaulAERC members,So far - I've only received a few nominations for the Pard'ners Award and for the Hall of Fame horse/member for the 2006 convention in San Antonio. Nominations will be officially accepted until August 10, 2005. The committee composed of the non-sanctioning regional directors and the present VP will make the selection. I'll accept nominations for a little while after that until the committee meeting on August 28 in the case of special circumstances. Documentation in the form of letters, photos, and ride records is helpful in making our selection. Photos will be returned if so noted. Please don't send just a name. Committee members may not know the person or equine so the above documentation really helps the nomination. Nominations can come from any member, including yourself, for the awards. Please send them by paper mail to Mike Maul 913 CR 423 Alvin, TX 77511 or best - by email to mmaul@xxxxxxxxx There must be some great horses/riders/Pard'ners out there for nomination. Please send them to me before Aug 10. That's only a few weeks from now. Check http://www.aerc.org/HallOfFame/ for inspiration and also to see if the person/equine has already received the award. I've had a few nominations of excellent horses that had already won the award.
