Can anyone describe what the Tevis trail conditions were like this year, 
which no doubt contributed to relatively slow times and low completion?

Also, Frank Smith's Batman is listed as a mule, and sex as J - is Batman an 
ungelded mule?  Or is he actually a jack donkey?
