Hi -
Fifi hasn't competed internationally yet.  She's fairly young - 8 or 9.  Her 
3rd Tevis attempt, first time ridden by Potato, got pulled at Foresthill.  
Second time ridden by Cathy - she took 9th (last year), and this year she 
won.  Fifi was bred and raised by Potato and Cathy - an offspring from Filla 
de Ceilana, which was Potato's favorite mare on which he took 2nd a few 
years ago at Tevis.  He's still got Filla and she's an old gal now - but 
looks so incredibly healthy and good.  When I visited Potato a few years 
ago, he showed me Fifi in the pasture and he said:"This is going to be the 
next big endurance star".  She wasn't much to look at and I wasn't quite 
sure.  But hey, I guess he knew exactly what he was raising.  It's quite 
amazing, isn't it.
