Re: [RC] [RC] AHRA registration papers not recognized for export - warning! - SandyDSA
I have read this indeed enough times to consider it still a strong arm
tactic for a group who feels they should be an exception. In the interests of
people who make a good deal of money on imports and exports, I can see why this
would be of great concern; however, the huge majority of Arabian owners and
indeed a huge percetange of reasonably successful breeders do not support this
position. The supportive responses I have received saying that they are proud of
AHRA for standing up for the average guy was really quite interesting. I
agree, there are ALWAYS two - or more - sides to a story. Which one actually is
respectful of the organization and its roots - that could be another story.
Probably if it were not a group of rather influential and well off breeders who
are coagulated in one region...any region....there could be another take on it -
though there will never be good justification for deliberately diluting pure
blood in my mind - for no good reason.
