Re: [RC] Trailer question: Lifting trailer/more info - Chris PausI'm interested in this discussion too. i bought an older 2H GN trailer last year that rides a little high on my Dodge V-10 4x4. It's Ok. I've been using it like that. I check the tires for extra wear. It pulls fine and I haven't had any problems. The rear end is plenty high enough off the ground that I dont' have to worry about bumps and ruts, but I would like to have it more level if there was a cost-effective way to do it. chris --- Ridecamp Guest <guest-owner@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: Please Reply to: Diane Farnsworth dfarnsworth@xxxxxxxxxx or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ========================================== Thank you Mike for your input. I guess I should have given more details about the truck. It's a 2005 Chevy Duramax HD 4x4. It's factory stock and doesn't have any extra lift accessories on it. What I've been told by the local dealer is that the truck cannot be lowered or changed without ruining the 4x4 suspension/the way the truck rides, etc. So I'm looking into the doing something to the trailer. But, I'm certainly open to all safe and sane suggestions. :) Diane =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
