==========================================

I traveled for about 10 years with my friend Lorie Stobie to rides all over the
northwest. We often had a 3rd person and horse along as well. It was Lorie's
truck and trailer. The riders paid gas based on mileage at the end of the trip
(I think it was 10 cents a mile back then)The mileage charge came close to
covering the gas with one rider and was more than the cost of gas with two
riders along.  We always felt that was fair since Lorie had to buy the tires;
oil changes; and have wear and tear on her rig. We planned the "living
situation" ahead of time and never had any problems. In fact, Lorie and I and
our horses became fast friends. We had wonderful trips and have many fond
memories of our travels and adventures together. Sharing a rig can add another
whole dimension to the fun of endurance riding.
