Very interesting.  I noticed that Pietro Moneta is riding for Italy.  Years ago I loaned him one of my horses for the first ride he (Pietro) had ever done more than 50 miles.  It was Tevis and it was my horse's first 100 and he finished it with room to spare.....mb
