Re: [RC] Horse Eyesight - LaneyNo, "A year at the races," is non-fiction and is really autobiographical. She talks about her horses, and her trainers. But the good part is her discussion of horse "psychology" which she based in part on other writers as well as her own experiences. A lot of what she says about how racing thoroughbreds learn their jobs and learn to appreciate themselves applies perfectly to endurance horses.
