RE: [RC] AERC Directions - 1 Day 100's - heidi



Most, if not all, of the champions of the past, when there was just one 
National Champion based on points accumulation, were not only not wealthy, 
but simply average working folks.  If you want it bad enough, you can make it 
happen. 


Thank you, Barbara, for underscoring that.  I can think of several
National Points Champions who were just everyday working folks,
pinching pennies to be able to ride.  

And thank you also for clarifying about the Great Trailer Race--that was
a really off-the-wall mileage championship, NOT the points championship.
It was in the days when you could ride as many horses as you wanted,
and the two who vied for it rode something like 40+ horses apiece.  It
was more like the Great Airplane Race...
