[RC] re: volunteering for 100 milers - Cindy Collins

She says:  "If there are under 10 riders though how many volunteers are
really needed?"

I almost came off the coach screaming when I read this one! That 100 miles
of trail still has to be marked, and unmarked.  Night marking still has to
be out and checked periodically.  Food provided.  Vet checks (scattered
over a hundred miles) have to be manned.  Landowners, BLM and USFS still
have to be dealt with.  Vets still have to be hired, fed, and assisted.
Porta Potties and water tanks delivered to vet checks. OK.  That's all I
can spit out.  I need to go drink a glass of wine!  Cindy
