California vets deserve extra duty pay if they have to deal with the
state Vet's office very much.

...And I guess when you do get them, they often give you the wrong info.
When my friend and I recently went from California to Canada with our
horses, both our vets had received incorrect information (but slightly
different information!) from the state and we had to have our horses
re-examined in a nearby Washington clinic and new Health Certificates issued!
