[RC] Hawk the Mighty Morgan first trailer ride to the finish! - Ridecamp Guest

First off let me say it was Hawks and mine first 
trip to Vermont and I loved it! Could not thing
of anything negative to say about this ride. Having
the runners out there was great. 
Now for the bad news although it was much cooler
than Old D Hawks pulse hung at 72 at the 2nd hold 
and needless to say he had his first trailer trip
to the finish. (He has 2 other DNIs both on 50s 
both at the finish). I knew something was wrong
but till the next morning was not sure what? Than
Sunday he came out of his pen fairly lame in the
rear so he was in pain but showed none till the
next day. I called my vet once we got back to Pa.
and took him right there where he failed to take a 
lame step.! darn Morgan. SO we will just wait and 
see. 
Anyhow we'll be back!! mary
