My dear friends are moving from California to Kentucky at the end of the month, taking their horses and ponies with them. I thought I remember reading about a book (or something) of places to stay and/or emergency phone numbers for vets in areas along major routes. As of yet, I do not think they have mapped out their route, other than to stay a day or so near Salt Lake City.
