Re: [RC] round bales-anybody feeding? - Clarence and Mary NunnWe don't feed round bales but we do feed square bales weighing at about 1000# to 1200#. for 14 horses my husband puts out 2 or 3 at a time. The backstock are kept tarped till needed. We live south east of Portland, Ore at about 3,000 feet. Sure does make feeding easy and we've done this for 6 or 8 years now without any problems. Very little waste too.Mary Mary Sutliff wrote: Does anyone feed round bales in a really wet climate. It doesn't seem possible to me here in wet western Washington. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
