RE: [RC] Truck Opinions Wanted - Val NicosonI'll second that Lani...we too have an older F-250
with the 460 engine that's been bored out even. Gas
mileage is terrible and so we no longer keep current
plates on it. BUT that thing could haul!
We were hauling a 25 ft travel trailer up Monteagle
Pass in TN one time...a semi that had been behind us
decided he would pass thinking we would get too slow
for him...he came along side and gave us a hard look
wondering what we had under the hood...and fell in
behind us ;-)
Still love that old truck but it was a bear to turn
and park with, especially with a trailer for any size
behind. It may not have noticed any trailer but
turning as I said was difficult. It did need that 40
acres to turn around in.
