described Lyric, except he is "a Hard - Keeper".
Let him eat what he wants just add water to
sweet-feed, Bribe with grass - grazing, and carrots and
apples,........ otherwise, beg, borrow, or steal, and offer to
replace other horses feed, if friends; let him wonder around and grap mouthfuls
of 'smorgasboard'. Other horses 'stuff' was always better; sometimes was
