Re: [RC] Saddle fit/Treeless ? - Mary KraussHey Angie--you were holding out on me--I didn't realize you rode in an Ortho-flex. Now I have to bug you privately with a whole lot of different questions for a friend of mine..... :-)And you're right--I read a lot of negatives about Ortho-flexes on Ridecamp, decided not to try one, then rode in a friend's short cutback and loved it! Called the company and had an absolutely wonderful conversation with Acie, one of their development people (ie, technical development, not marketing). Regarding your last point, in addition to noticing equipment at rides, I scan every picture in the Endurance magazine, trying to see what all these happy looking people are sitting on, but they seem to love headshots.... Someone had a great idea a while back about people who post adding a little bio blurb of info about their set-up: e.g. "Joanna on Spot in her Orthoflex Amigo, Skito pad, and blah blah blah." That's just how they do it on the "Coffee Jerks" site--every poster lists their espresso machine, coffee grinder, and style of roast. Sounds silly but it's really very fun. And it proves over and over how much success people have with an enormous variety of equipment. Kinda' reassuring really. Mary K and Salima and Bruiser who wish their rider could tell you what she rides in so we could quit trying new equipment every day.....
