Some of them do (and some don't), but some horses are pretty good at
"pest" control, also. My little TWH gelding does not allow ANYTHING
(dogs, cats, wildlife) into his area.  Even our own dogs. He is good
with cows and calves, though - I've recently loaned him out to a
friend whose cows are calving and he's done a good job keeping the
coyotes away.
