I don't use rope halters, but I am also old school, and don't WANT anything
to break. I know some feel that at times, a halter or leads that break if a
horse gets tangled up is preferable, but I have seen too many learn to pull
back and break things. Then they often can not be tied anywhere. Some will
argue, that is fine. Each of us does what we feel works best for US.
