Ok, now maybe this is the time to ask this question:

 

At the last ride, Me and some other people cooked up the idea that after doing the OD 100 next year, that the year after, 2007, we try for the Tevis.  Ok, I know that there is like a 2 year wait to enter...or at least that is what I heard.  So, if you were someone, planning to go to the Tevis in 2 to 3 years, how to do you go about it?  Do you just fill out the application and send it, and wait to see what happens?  I didn't see anything on the Tevis website that listed the entries for upcoming years, only the current year.  Any help will be welcomed.

 

PS.  Come on SE riders, next year we attack the OD, and then the Tevis.   Who wants to be with Marie and Me....and I think Roger Barrett.  Angie???? Want to ride Aries at the Tevis???

Dont give up!!!! On year I was number 25  on the waiting list.. I drove up and camped out with every one else then waited for a spot to open...they pulled lots of horses at the pre-ride vet check and I was good to go with in less then a hour of getting there. When I checked before I drove up to Robie park I was still on the waiting list but by the time I had camp set up and my horse relaxed I was in the ride. Good luck
