We can't use the velco ones here because my gelding takes everyones fly masks off (except his own) so we have to use the ones with the locking plastic latches. Depending on the type you use, if the velcro ones, you could leave those on all the time....the plastic latching ones I wouldn't leave on if I was going to be gone from the ranch.
