[RC] SEDRA's Educational Seminar/Dr. Kerry Ridgeway - Gotarace2

SEDRA Annual Awards Banquet & Educational Seminar

June 25 & 26

Blackprong Equestrian Center (http://www.blackprong.com/)

It’s not too late to make your plans for attending the SEDRA awards banquet and educational seminar. Our General Meeting will begin at 1pm on Saturday, to include new rule changes and election of new officers. The mileage awards presentation will begin at 3pm, with the dinner banquet to follow and the completion of the awards afterwards.  Don't miss the famous Painted Ponies raffle!

This year’s educational speaker will be Dr. Kerry Ridgway, developer of the CRI and former chair of the AERC veterinary committee, and many other accomplishments too numerous to mention! Come hear him speak! Dr. Ridgway will be addressing saddle fit and muscle conditioning of the distance horse.

Please contact Carol Thompson  at  carolythompson@xxxxxxx  for reservations to the banquet ($15 in advance, $20 at the door)  and seminar ($30 advance, $35 at the door).

We will also have another great tack swap; if you are still interested in a table please contact Maris Ramsey at MarisR@xxxxxxx    The upcoming ride calendar is getting full; there will be a raffle of ride entries to raise funds for a veterinarian educational seminar. Ride calendars available to all!

Let’s celebrate last year’s wonderful accomplishments and learn something new for next year!

Trail of Painted Ponies Raffle

Last year, a collection of the beautiful Trail of the Painted Ponies figurines stood as centerpieces on the SEDRA banquet tables and this year will once again grace the tables. These ponies will be raffled off at the end of the banquet on Saturday evening. You can purchase single raffle tickets for $1, 6 for $5.  You need not be present to win.

The Painted Ponies sell for about $25 each.  No two of the ones bought are the same, nor are any duplicates from last year.  Each is a work of art, by different artists from all over the country.  The whole series can be viewed at www.paintedponiescollectibles.com

Tickets can be purchased in advance by contacting Carol Thompson, or by asking someone who is attending to purchase tickets for you.
