[RC] Horse Humor for the Day - PNH - Kristi SchaafI also found the humor in that post. : - )
That said, I'm not exaggerating when I say that
without Parelli, I would not know how to safely ride
my current horse - and this realization that I needed
help happened to me after 10 years and thousands of
miles of distance riding on a horse that I now realize
made everything seem easy. My current horse pointed
out to me all that I don't know. So, the 'thank gawd I
found PNH' side of me also recognizes the negative in
this type of humor; first, because it's not often
accurate and second, because it feeds on the
misperceptions already out there. It may cause people
who could/would benefit from it (whatever 'it' may be
-PNH in this instance) to instead poke fun at the very
thing that could make their lives better....such is
human nature, I suppose. And if we all believed in the
same things, how blah our world would be.
