Re: [RC] Re Something important - Chris Paus

Thanks Dyane. You guys are the greatest.

I think I'm turning the corner on this thing. I HAD to go to town for a little bit. Ugh, I did not want to, but there was an errand that my DH couldn't do, he just had a tooth pulled. I dragged myself to the truck. I'm sure if there had been a cop behind me he would have pulled me over and done a breathalyzer test. I felt that "out of it."

got back home and felt just spent. then, somethign told me to try EmergenC. I have lots of it for distance riding. Why not when you feel sick? I took a glassful and within 20 minutes I was doing much better. I'm sure after 3 days, the antibiotics are starting to work too. but when you are feeling crappy, you dont' eat right, so I imagine my body is out of kilter in more ways than one. I couldn't believe the difference after taking the EmergenC.!!!!

I have to thank you all for that. I had never heard of it until there was a discussion about it on Ridecamp a while back. It's been my trail companion ever since, and now my best friend in illness too.

Keep us up to date, Chris.  With all you have going on, I would feel sick even without any tick borne illness.  You must be major tough!

I felt good enough to go play with the colts a little this morning, but came back in feeling flushed and awful! With 9 horses, a job and a disabled husband, you can imagine I don't have time to get sick!
