Having crewed the OD a couple of times I can tell you from personal 
experience you start getting very sick of it starting at the river 
(second time). It goes downhill very rapidly after that. I've even heard 
comments like, "you can ride this "*%$*" ride cavalry next time" being 
yelled out at high volumn at the river check.
