Re: [RC] Cavalry and Calvary horses ridden to town - Sisu West RanchBefore I did endurance, I rode and drove on a charity wagon train. The year I trained a buggy horse, I decided that I better take her on city streets with traffic etc. I drove 6 miles to the feed mill in town. I went in and ordered my feed. The clerk asked me where my truck was parked. I said "Its the only horse and wagon outfront". The whole feed store instantly emptied to see this. The 70 year old owner said that this was the first horse she could remember in the last 30 years.Unfortunately, I get bored with horses walking so I trained her mostly at the trot. After 3 days walking at 3 mph on the wagon train, she went bonkers. I had to pull her from the train, and then decided to try CTR and endurance. I've never looked back.
