Some time back - a long time back actually - after I crewed the OD a year where the weather was cool I made a statement that "the next year I was going to ride the OD cavalry (that spelled correctly enough for the RC sensors)." Within a nanosecond someone posted that I had either spent too much time in the sun or I was an idiot. When I went out to feed my horse, he told me I was an idiot. For whatever reason I didn't get up to the ride.How can anyone expect anyone that is idiotic enough to try the OD - the hardest ride in the US if not the world much less to do it cavalry - be expected to spell.
