With the DSS, I sue a woolback and a good sheepskin AP for competing.  For the western, Gary uses a woolback or equipedic.

While you're all still thinking about those Synergist saddles, what kind of saddle pads are you using?  My daughter's saddle, which  purchased used , still has the original pad.  It's  well past time to buy a new pad - what are you using that you like?
