We lucked into a top 10 spot when the front pack took a wrong turn not once, but twice, ultimately leaving us in 8th place. I stood for BC for the first time and my horse had a sore back on the right side. Ken wrote on my BC score card "rider needs to work on equitation". He was absolutely right. I took his advice to heart, and thus far, no more sore back for the horse.
