Actually juniors in AHA have it better than adults - they can compete at AHA US Nationals, as well as AHA Youth Nationals.
 
It's just the prizes are not allocated by age [or weight division for that matter!]

That would certainly explain a few things.  But, I suppose that having gone to the National AHA ride before, seeing all the awards, we didn't realize that they didn't recgonize the junior riders.  That is crap in itself.    Not that I am trying to fuss at you, you only stated the facts.  And fact is, that sucks.  That is still like being a second class citizen.  Again, what message does that send to the youth that are suppose to be the future for the sport/breed.  "Oh, well, you don't matter until you are an adult and have major corporate money behind you."  Sorry to sound so sucky.....but this is I suppose a David and Goliath battle.

PS.  Joni was wanting to do the Regional rides, I guess no reason to now.
