Re: [RC] English Cantle Packs - Barbara McCraryI have English saddle bags from Sportack and I love them. I can't stand trying to throw my right leg over a bulky cantle pack....I usually get hung up on it. The saddle bags hang down the sides a short distance and the fabric that connects them slips neatly between the cantle of an English saddle and the saddle pad. I like an extended pad so the saddlebags don't rub the horse's back. There is plenty of room for EZ Boots and a vest or windbreaker. There is even a small pocket closed with Velcro on the outside of the near side bag, and that's where I carry my vet card. Take a look in Sportack's catalog, or perhaps it's shown on their website.Barbara Barbara McCrary, ride mgr. I have the Deluxe Stowaway Pommel packs and LOVE them, but Im concerned with the pocket feature on the English Cantle packs. Im sensitive to having things under me, cant stand to ride on a t-shirt, etc and am wondering if that lip that goes over the seat on the cantle pack will bother me... =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
