Re: [RC] motion sickness in the dark - Maryanne GabbaniWe used those on our sailboat in the Mediterranean, where you get some pretty rough sea on occasion. My daughter was one of those kids who was seasick from day one (try birth!) and couldn't even go to sleep in a car as a baby. It didn't stop her from being seasick, though it might have made it a bit better. She handled it by not eating when we were sailing. But the rest of us got some help from this. I think that it depends on the person, but they are certainly worth trying since they don't wipe you out like the drugs. The other things that were very useful in really rough seas were the scolpamine (sp?) patches, but you have to put them on BEFORE things get rough. They also didn't make anyone sleepy.Maryanne Gabbani On May 31, 2005, at 11:01 PM, Ridecamp Guest wrote: Please Reply to: Ron Shaffer ron.shaffer or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ========================================== =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
