[RC] Shoeing, angles - hrsldyloryWhile we're on the subject...What are your thoughts on angles? The horse I'm riding is very upright, he's at 53 degrees and since this is his first shoing ever, my farrier seems to think he should drop the angle to about 51 or 50 eventually depending on how he rides out the next 6 weeks. He stated that he normally sets hunter/jumpers at 53 to prevent bows and sets pleasure horses around 50. Is there really a big difference? =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
