[RC] places to board in St. George, UT - Ridecamp GuestPlease Reply to: Cyndi Platt equilady@xxxxxxxxxxxxx or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ========================================== My husband and I are moving to the St. George, UT area and while we were there a week or so ago looking for a house, I spend most of my time checking out the boarding facilities, tack shops, ride groups, etc. What a shock!!! Can anyone tell me of a boarding facility in the area that has stalls or a barn and not just the 12 x 24 corrals with a piece of sheet metal across one end for a sun shelter. What a difference from what I and my horse are used to being from the Atlanta, GA area. We have real barns, padded stalls, ceiling fans, auto waterers, tack rooms. Boy are we spoiled. I couldn't find one place like home and no place had any turnout. Not to mention not having any grass. I can appreciate not having grass, but my guy needs to be able to walk around some. My question is, "Is this pretty typical of the southwest" or did I just not look in the right place? Can anyone tell me of a boarding barn or no of someone who'll board my horse at their home. He's a 16 hand black TWH. We've been doing Limited Distance riding for about a year now. The best he's done so far is 6th place on our last ride last October.
