[RC] Cool, CA - Ridecamp GuestPlease Reply to: Lauretta tikitiki69@xxxxxxxxxxx or ridecamp@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ========================================== Cool is a GREAT place to be if you have a horse!! I try to ride from Auburn to Cool every 2 to 3 weeks, and there are a lot of different trails and terrain to train on. There are also lots of riders there (there is a big trailer/staging area behind the firehouse)and everyone I have met has been really friendly; there is always someone you can find to ride with if you wanted to. Lots of horse property; in fact, that is all there is. It is also about a half hour/45 min from Dru Barner, which is the horse campground the use for the Gold Country ride, and there are end- less trails up there too. Very scenic, not a lot of rock, good footing. You can go from meadow-type dirt trails to single track mountain climbs with lots of places to trot in between. I love going up there.
