[RC] caja del rio ride update - LISAhello folks: well, it's countdown time for the caja ride. about 10 days to go! there have been a few changes, most importantly of which is that base camp has moved! we will be at the headquarters well, just inside the forest boundary. this saves about five miles of driving on the dirt road. there are more trees, which should help with the dust and wind (if there is any), and it is overall a nicer base camp, except for the view of the landfill. :) but we can't have everything. the other major change is that the fun ride is now MORE fun, ie 13 miles instead of 8. but trust me, it's the most beautiful loop of the ride. the 50s and 30s will get to do it too. that's about it! PLEASE, if you are thinking about coming, let me know ASAP. I need a head count for the caterer, for the post-ride dinner, and I only have about 10 confirmed entries.
