Re: [RC] Sharon Saare saddles -synthetic? - Suzi Maiorisi
Might look into the Specialized Saddles - www.specializedsaddles.com quality
is excellent, can be adjusted to fit any horse (I have a gaited Morgan with WIDE
shoulders that fall off to a narrow back and she's as comfortable as I
am). You won't find many of them used as we're hard pressed to EVER give
them up, but sometimes you can buy the demo saddle if it's to your liking and
get a break in price on it that way. Several models, colors, etc,
etc. I didn't get the shiny stirrups that were on the demo and I have
kicked myself for a year now that I didn't and it will be my birthday present to
myself. Seems the more miles you put on it the more comfortable it
gets...I've had 3 knee surgeries and am a short heavyweight and knees are
important to me - as in it's nice to be able to get off my horse and still be
able to walk, and from the first ride to the last ride I did in it, regardless
of time in the saddle, I've never had a problem with them.
What do you guys think of Sharon Saare saddles? I'm looking for an
endurance saddle for my spotted saddle horse, and ran across a used Sharon
Saare Saddle. I'm planning on looking into it if the feedback I hear
is positive, on the other hand I don't want to waste my time and
money.
