Not saying this ride had issue with that, but it seems some of the rides have must more intense and "fast" starts than others. I've seen starts at the beginning of 25's that looked like the Kentucky derby starting gates flying open........ I think the worst in this regard had to be the Tennessee 50 back 20 years ago (remember, Jody?). The horses lined up in a large grassy meadow, facing a fenceline about 100 yards away at the edge of the woods. There was a ten-foot gate in the fence, with a ninety-degree turn to the right up a single-track just past it. They fired a gun (literally) to start the ride and there was a sprint to be first through the gate! -- Joe Long jlong@xxxxxxxx http://www.rnbw.com =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= Ridecamp is a service of Endurance Net, http://www.endurance.net.
