Lil and I were going down the trail one year at the GERA Classic. The trail turned sharply left ... and until you made the turn, you could not see a tree. Well, my girl is into economics ... so she shaved that turn and didn't bend around it. She didn't hit the tree, but I did with my left knee and hard enough that it knocked us all the way off trail to the right and left me with a crooked saddle and yelling ugly words.
