RE: [RC] [RC] Grain Storage Containers - Laurie Durgin

Good trashcans with well fitting tops, you can tie some down too/ or use bungees. --At least that is what we do alot around here. I use trashcans the rubbery kind, fits 2 -3 bags of 50 lb. feed.
Metal if you have persistant varmits.

I am looking for a new option for grain storage. I
currently use a rubbermaid container and while that
works, its just not ideal for me. First, I board my
horse so need to store any grain/beet pulp in
containers in my horse trailer. I had been storing a
complete feed (Manna Senior) in a rubbermaid that fit
under the saddle rack in my tack room. I have a
2-horse slant-load. I have since decided that I have
too much stuff in the tack area and want to move feed
stuffs into the first stall of my trailer since I only
have one horse.

Suggestions for a upright feed container capable of
holding one bag (30 lbs?) that is rodent
